STEP ONE

Establish an Annual Roof Inspection and Preventative Roof Maintenance Program

Jurin Roofing Services is a Carlisle SynTec Continu-Care Authorized Applicator and a GAF CMP Certified Maintenance Professional. Jurin Roofing is fully authorized to maintain your Carlisle and GAF roof and offer their warranty extension programs as part of your preventative maintenance package.

STEP TWO

Apply for a Commercial Roof Warranty Extension

Carlisle SynTec and GAF now offer commercial roof warranty extension programs. These programs both require an active roof inspection and preventative maintenance program performed by an authorized applicator. Both programs are explained in detail below.

Carlisle SynTec’s Continu-Care Preventative Maintenance and Warranty Extension Program

Carlisle SynTec’s Continu-Care program allows building owners who have their roof inspected and maintained regularly to extend their Carlisle Total System Warranty by 5 years.

To be eligible, building owners have up to one year after installation completion to enter into a maintenance agreement with a Carlisle Continu-Care Authorized Applicator, like Jurin Roofing Services.

This agreement will include an annual roof inspection and maintenance visit to ensure the roof is performing properly, is in good condition, and does not require any repairs.

How it works

Contact Jurin Roofing Services to register your Carlisle Total System Warranty prior to the one-year anniversary of the installation completion date (located on the Total System Warranty). Upon acceptance of the registration Carlisle will acknowledge that the Total System Warranty has been approved for the five year extension if the program criteria is completed.

ROOF INSPECTION

A Carlisle Continu-Care qualified applicator, like Jurin Roofing Services, must perform an annual inspection and maintenance visit in accordance with the Continu-Care Inspection and Maintenance Checklist as a minimum. The first Continu-Care inspection must be conducted within 60 days prior to the second anniversary of the installation completion date as noted on the Carlisle Total System Warranty.

ANNUAL ROOF MAINTENANCE PLAN

Annual inspection and maintenance must be performed within 60 days prior to each anniversary of the installation completion date for the duration of the original warranty. Inspection reports must be submitted to Carlisle by the applicator within 30 days after the installation completion date anniversary.

GAF Well Roof Guarantee Extension Program

GAF is so committed to helping you ensure the long-term performance of your roof (and maintain your guarantee coverage) that they’ve put together the Well Roof™ Guarantee Extension, a unique guarantee extension program designed to help you maintain your roof’s watertight integrity.

Participating in this program will not only help you meet the maintenance requirements of your GAF Diamond Pledge™ Guarantee, but GAF will extend the length of your coverage by 25%—with no additional guarantee fee. Just set up an annual inspection program through a GAF Certified Maintenance Professional like Jurin Roofing Services.

Your CMP will perform one or more annual inspections of your roof, perform (or arrange for) any necessary maintenance (with your approval) to keep it watertight, and submit all necessary documentation to GAF. It’s that simple.

The Well Roof™ Guarantee Extension program requires a very extensive annual inspection to evaluate multiple parts of your roof/facility, performed by a GAF Certified Maintenance Professional. It will give you the peace of mind that your roof is performing as it was intended—while meeting the requirements to maintain your guarantee coverage. Contact Jurin Roofing Services or another GAF Certified Maintenance Professional to let them know you would like to participate in the Well Roof™ program.

NOTIFY GAF OF PARTICIPATION IN PROGRAM

Your GAF Certified Maintenance Professional will notify GAF of your participation in the program. GAF must be notified no later than 60 days prior to the second anniversary of the completion of the roofing system.

ANNUAL ROOF MAINTENANCE PLAN

Establish an annual roof inspection and preventative maintenance program for your roofing system and have your CMP perform and document your annual inspections. Confirm to GAF any repairs needed and documentation that the needed repairs have been made. Note: If your annual inspections/repairs are discontinued at any time, your guarantee coverage will revert to its original duration.

What it Means to be a GAF Certified Maintenance Professional (CMP)

We’ve joined a program developed by GAF, North America’s largest roofing manufacturer, that certifies us as maintenance professionals. To qualify, we’ve committed to GAF’s rigorous inspection protocol using GAF’s exclusive maintenance educational program.
